The program Conexão Oceano de Comunicação Ambiental, an initiative of Fundação Grupo Boticário de Proteção à Natureza, in partnership with UNESCO, is seeking story pitches about the oceans.
Journalists can submit story ideas that demonstrate how art can foster people's engagement in ocean conservation or how ocean conservation can influence art.
Journalists can submit up to two story ideas to be published or broadcast in print, online, radio and TV. Up to five proposals will be given a BRL10,000 grant to fund the reporting.
The application deadline is April 20.
