Journalists around the world can apply for this fellowship which offers reporting grants.
The National Press Foundation (NPF) is offering an online fellowship on covering rare diseases. This free, on the record, program runs Nov. 13 to 17.
The program will consist of online briefings and question-and-answer sessions from top world experts in rare diseases, diagnostics, targeted testing and drug development, as well as from leaders of patient advocacy groups and journalists who have been covering the issues.
In addition, fellows will receive grants up to US$3,000 to support reporting projects focused on a rare disease anywhere in the world. Projects must be published by Feb. 29, 2024.
The application deadline is Sept. 12.
