Translators with three to five years’ experience conducting English to French translations can apply.
The International Journalists’ Network (IJNet) is hiring a French translator. The translator will work closely with the IJNet French editor to populate the French site with practical articles and resources for journalists, and with IJNet home office staff to ensure the smooth operation of the French site.
The translator will also research, write and publish training opportunities in French for IJNet and translate opportunities from English to French, and from French to English.
Applicants must be fluent in French and English, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.
A background in journalism is preferred.
