School of Science and Health Journalism open [Central Asia]

Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan journalists, science bloggers and academics interested in running their own media or blog can apply. 

The School of Science and Health Journalism is organized by Internews with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), as part of the MediaCAMP Central Asia Program.

Trainings will be held online Jan. 18 to 29, 2021, in Russian, Kazakh, Tajik and Uzbek languages.

The program includes lectures, workshops and interactive sessions. During the project, participants will create two pieces of media content; after the trainings, program will provide participants a month of mentoring.

The head coach of the school is Nikolai Voronin, a science journalist for BBC Global News.

Participation in the school is free.

The deadline is Jan. 11, 2021.
