Dow Jones Newswires is looking for an experienced translation editor for its Japanese-language service (JLS).

The editor will be part of a team that selects the lineup of English-language stories from Dow Jones Newswires and The Wall Street Journal to be translated for the Japanese audience. Responsibilities include editing and assuring the quality of both human- and machine-translated articles.

The ideal candidate must have excellent English and Japanese language skills, with at least several years of experience translating or editing translations of English-language news stories into Japanese. Strong news judgment and knowledge of finance and business, as well as an interest in international affairs are also required.
