Knight Center hosts MOOC on digital audio storytelling [Worldwide]

Journalists interested in improving their audio storytelling skills can enroll in this course.

The Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas, through its Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), hosts the free course "The power of digital audio storytelling: From podcasts to voice assistants" Oct. 26 to Nov. 29.

The course is divided into four modules covering: an introduction to audio storytelling and new formats; the fundamentals of audio storytelling and how to write for the format; how audio storytelling was transformed by podcasting; and different listening platforms, including voice assistants, and how to distribute your audio to audiences.

The instructor is Tamar Charney, senior editorial director at National Public Radio (NPR). 

The course is accessible to anyone with an internet connection.
