Population Stories Podcast Training open [Africa, Asia]

Radio journalists, independent radio stations and community radio groups interested in producing a podcast series can apply for this training.

The Population Reference Bureau is organizing a podcast training as part the Policy, Advocacy, and Communication Enhanced for Population and Reproductive Health (PACE) Project, funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

The training will cover reporting and production skills over two in-person sessions and virtually. Participants will select a population, development or reproductive health-related topic as their main theme to explore.

The finished podcast series will be distributed in participants’ countries and communities through radio and will reach an international audience with dissemination online.

Applicants must be from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, DRC, Ethiopia, Ghana, Haiti, India, Kenya, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Rwanda, Senegal, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Yemen or Zambia.

The deadline is April 8.
