Young journalists are invited to enter this contest for a chance to win a fully-funded trip.
Climate Tracker, in partnership with Hivos, will send six journalists to cover the Sustainable Energy for All Forum May 26 to 28 in Kigali, Rwanda.
Contestants must write an article about energy access, clean energy cooking, right to energy transition, ensuring everyone benefits from sustainable energy access and sustainable energy and climate change. They must also be published in a news site, blog, newspaper or magazine at a national, regional, local or international level.
The winners will receive training before the conference and a grant to cover energy issues back in their home country.
The deadline to publish and submit an article is March 18.
