Young professional photographers from the wider Balkan region can apply for this training.
The VII Academy is organizing the first class of the seminar for Narrative and Documentary Practice 2019/2020 on Sept. 21 to 28 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The program will also feature two more weeklong workshops over nine months. In between workshops, participants will be tutored by the course leaders and guest lecturers on photographic techniques and research skills as well as the history of photojournalism and documentary practice.
Applicants must be citizens and residents of the following countries: Turkey, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Albania.
The program is free for selected participants.
The deadline is Aug. 17.
