Amateur and professional photographers can enter this competition.

The Photography 4 Humanity Global Prize invites photographers around the world to bring to life the power of human rights through their images. The 2024 Global Contest promotes climate justice.

Entries must show people impacted by the climate crisis. They include images of climate refuges, the very young, the very old, the disabled and injured, the poor, Indigenous and island people, and women.

In addition, entries must illustrate courage, despair, hope, injustice, hate, compassion, human rights failures or victories in ways small and large. Photos must have a direct, positive impact on human rights issues by inspiring and mobilizing people to take action.

The winner will receive US$5,000 and his or her work will be exhibited at the United Nations in New York, along with images from the top 10 finalists.

The deadline is Aug. 1.
