Digital storytellers ages 18 to 35 can apply for this program.

The British Council is accepting applications for ColabNowNow, a digital arts residency that connects digital artists from Africa and the United Kingdom.

The program will select 11 applicants to develop cutting edge digital artworks through collaborative artmaking and storytelling. They will create a collaborative exhibition to be launched on Oct.11 at the opening of the Maputo Fast Forward festival.

Storytellers can include, but are not limited to: writers, photographers, filmmakers, videographers, bloggers and vloggers.

Applicants must be available Sept. 3 to 8 to travel to Johannesburg, South Africa, and Oct. 2 to 12 to Maputo, Mozambique. The British Council will cover travel expenses and provide a GBP500 (US$625) stipend.

The deadline is July 24.
