English-speaking journalists with three to five years of experience and at least one to two years working with data can apply for this fellowship.
The program includes training on creative storytelling and offers grants to support data-driven projects. The prize for the best project is a three-month News Corp Fellowship in New York, where the fellow will receive hands-on training and mentorship at the WSJ media science lab.
Applicants must participate in two half-day webinars on July 29 and 30, which will teach them how to pitch a data-driven project and to develop a prototype.
The deadline is July 7.
