Arab individuals can apply to this program.
The Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) is accepting applications in the category of training and regional events as part of its 2019 general grants program.
The AFAC Training and Regional Events Program provides annual grants ranging from a few thousand U.S. dollars up to a maximum of US$50,000.
The grants can be used for training in cultural and artistic fields, platforms for archiving and documentation, residencies, regional events and festivals. Proposals must be related to contemporary Arab culture. Funds should cover project-related expenses (including artist fees).
Applications can be submitted in either Arabic or in English.
The deadline is Sept. 1.
