Public Journalism Club seeks journalism trainers [Armenia]

Experienced media trainers with a focus on investigative journalism and human rights can apply for this program.

The Public Journalism Club (PJC), in partnership with Armenia's Investigative Reporters, is looking for trainers for the project "A public glimpse into a closed world: enhancing public information on and awareness on human rights situation in penitentiaries and psychiatric residential institutions in Armenia."

The trainers will help enhance media professionals’ awareness of and ability to cover issues related to human rights situations at closed institutions, and increase coverage and quality of reports on the human rights situation in closed institutions.

The training is scheduled for May 2 to 5 in Yerevan.

Candidates must have at least five years of experience in investigative journalism, human rights protection and journalism training as well as excellent communication and writing skills.

The deadline is March 20.
