The role involves overseeing editorial reporting, compiling material, lead teams, planning and implementing effective use of resources.
The senior journalist will be responsible for originating and producing stories which may include scripting, editing, outputting, filming and presenting content across various BBC platforms.
Applicants may be required to present content on radio, TV or online, whether live or recorded, and should also manage staff, technical facilities and budgets.
