Journalists and others interested in producing videos for social media can participate in this course in English.
The Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas, through its Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), is hosting the free course “Mobile journalism: How to use your phone to produce great videos and build a social audience" Feb. 4 to March 3.
Participants will learn how to create social videos with their mobile devices to be viewed on mobile and social platforms; how to find stories online, capture and edit video with their phone; and build strategies for engagement.
The instructor is Yusuf Omar, co-founder of Hashtag Our Stories.
The course is accessible to anyone with an internet connection.
