Print, online, TV and radio journalists in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan can apply for this contest.
The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights' (OHCHR) Regional Office for Central Asia (ROCA) and the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR) in Central Asia are organizing the contest for journalists, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Entries must have been published or broadcast between Jan. 1 and Nov. 30, 2018 in Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Tajik, Uzbek or Russian languages.
Winners will receive prizes, including laptops and cell phones.
The deadline is Nov. 30.
