Journalists who cover education in Brazil can compete for a prize.
Sponsored by Brazil's National Association of Federal Institutions of Higher Education (Andifes, in Portuguese), the Andifes Journalism Prize aims to encourage media professionals to produce news reports on education, emphasizing the importance of this sector for the country.
The articles or series of articles must have been published or broadcast in 2018 on TV or in newspapers, magazines or websites based in Brazil. The categories are K-12 and higher education.
The winners in each category will receive two round-trip airline tickets to any state capital in Brazil.
The deadline is Oct. 18.
