Filmmakers in the Arab world can participate in this film festival in Giza, Egypt.
The Ismailia International Film Festival, organized by The Egyptian Ministry of Culture, and Egyptian Film Center, is accepting submissions to its 26th edition, which will be held from Feb. 5 - 11, 2025.
The festival aims to promote an intercultural dialogue for a deeper understanding of others through the lens of cinema.
The festival accepts submissions in three categories: International Feature Documentary [duration over 60 minutes], International Shorts [documentaries, fiction and animation under 60 minutes] and Egyptian Student Short Films.
The best film prize in each competition will receive a certificate, a cash prize, and a jury prize is given to a film in each competition.
The deadline is Nov. 25.
