Media start-ups, journalism incubators, innovative media initiatives, non-profit and for-profit media organizations can apply for an innovation grant.
The Al Khatt association, in collaboration with Free Press Unlimited (FPU), is seeking applications for an innovation grant within a program called “Stimulating innovation to increase audience engagement for independent media in the Maghreb region,” with the support of the European Union.
The program aims to stimulate innovation in the media to increase audience engagement, support independent media initiatives to produce quality journalism and promote diversity and inclusion in the media.
The program offers four grants up to EUR20,000 per project.
Applicants must be from Algeria, Tunisia or Libya, and may be based outside these three countries. Candidates should attach the required documents as attachments via email, as indicated in the opportunity's application link.
The deadline for application is Oct. 6.
