More than 1 million YouTube subscribers later, Vice News is expanding its news channel.

The Vice News channel will begin to produce local-language video content in Germany, Brazil, Australia, France, Spain, Italy and Mexico. Beyond longer videos, Vice News will also post to Vine and Instagram.

The additional channels will roll out during the next seven months. Vice News in France will debut next week.

The Vice News channel launched in March 2014. The media company says it is the fastest-growing news channel on YouTube in history. Within seven months, it garnered 1 million YouTube subscribers and 150 million views.

Vice News already has offices in the countries, according to its masthead. Vice.com also has local-language homepages for Germany, Brazil, Australia, France, Spain and Mexico.

Along with his team, Vice co-founder Shane Smith is in London at the UK Digital Upfronts, a weeklong event organized by the Internet Advertising Bureau UK. The company announced it will show Vice fans a new, responsive Vice.com in the near future and begin airing new food and music variety programs. A Vice sports channel in Europe is also in the works.
