Arab fact-checking organizations and initiatives can apply to win an award.
The Arab Fact-Checkers Network (AFCN), from ARIJ, is seeking submissions for AFCN's Award for the Best Cross-Border Fact-Checking Project in 2024.
The award aims to encourage cross-border collaboration, highlight Arab fact-checking organizations and initiatives, and support them before an international audience of journalists and fact-checkers.
The project should be fully implemented and/or published (or broadcast) between September 2023 and September 2024, and should be implemented and/or published in Arabic if submitted by Arab organizations, and in Arabic and English if submitted by Arab and foreign organizations.
The submission deadline is Sept. 2.
