Journalists worldwide can apply to attend a four-day reporting institute.
The Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma is offering the 2024 Early Childhood Reporting Institute. The institute will help journalists deepen their knowledge of early childhood development and increase their capacity to report ethically and effectively on the youngest children and their caregivers.
Twenty-five journalists will participate in panels, workshops and skills-based training by leading researchers, clinicians, and child development experts and practitioners.
The reporting institute will be held March 8 to 11, 2024 at Columbia Journalism School in New York City.
Airfare, accommodation, transportation and most meals will be covered for selected participants.
The deadline is Oct. 25.
