Journalists from Nigeria are invited to apply.
The Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA), in partnership with Co-Develop, is offering the Digital Public Infrastructure Journalism Fellowship. This program is intended to build a pool of West African journalists who would have the knowledge and skills to produce impactful reports on digital public infrastructure and digital public goods and services.
This next cohort is exclusive to journalists in Nigeria and aims to increase public awareness, stimulate debates, foster inclusivity, and encourage participation and uptake of DPI/DPGs issues in the country.
This six-month fellowship will run October 2025 to March 2026. The fellowship features training workshops, mentorship and story production.
Fifteen journalists will be selected. For the first three months of the program, fellows will receive a monthly stipend of US$250. Fellows are eligible for reporting grants up to US$300 per story.
The deadline is Sept. 12.
