Non-governmental, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and media organizations based and registered in Armenia can apply for these grants.

Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) of the U.S. Embassy in Armenia accepts applications for grants under its 2023 Annual Program Statement (APS). The APS is a best practice utilized by many U.S. embassies around the world to solicit proposals for funding via an open and transparent competition process.

Grants are available for projects that advance media literacy and train journalists, and expand English language learning and training opportunities for journalists. All projects must include an American cultural element, or connection with American expert(s), organization(s) or institution(s) in a specific field.

Projects can last up to 12 months and most grants selected are between US$5,000 and US$25,000. In rare circumstances, applications above US$50,000 will be evaluated.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the year, on a quarterly basis.

The next deadline is April 1.
