Journalists, communication professionals and others can register for this free online workshop.
Chicas Poderosas organizes "Diversidades al mando," an online activity which will be held in March in both Spanish and Portuguese. Participants can choose to take the classes live or watch them asynchronously.
The course will aim to teach journalism, financial sustainability, fundraising, project management, collaborative leadership and anti-colonial narratives. Its goal is to contribute to diversify the profiles active in the media, in order to make it more common to find leadership from people who are currently underrepresented.
Anyone can take part of this activity, but Chicas Poderosas is especially interested in enrolling mainly women, Indigenous people, Afro-descendants, migrants, LGBTQ+ and people with disabilities.
Those interested can register by completing a detailed form prior to the start of the course in March.
