Caribbean photographers and filmmakers can compete in separate competitions for cash prizes.
CARICOM Energy, in partnership with the CARICOM Secretariat and the Caribbean Development Bank, is accepting submissions for the 2022 CARICOM Energy Month (CEM) photography and short film contests. Both competitions are intended to engage Caribbean citizens in telling the story of sustainable energy transition.
Filmmakers must create an original piece exploring the Sustainable Energy Transition in CARICOM at the household, community, national or regional level. Films must be no longer than two minutes.
Photographers must submit an original photo capturing the essence of Caribbean Energy.
The first-place winner in each competition will receive US$2,000.
