Journalists interested in climate issues can register for this free online course.
The Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas has launched the MOOC "How to Cover the Climate Crisis — and Fight Disinformation," sponsored by Google News Initiative.
The four-week course will be held from Aug. 8 to Sept. 4, with classes available in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Throughout the four modules, students will learn about climate science, how to spot and fight disinformation about the climate, and how to create stories on the topic with a human touch.
