All media workers (journalists, video editors, videographers, researchers, producers, etc. - staff or freelance) who have worked in the last five years can participate in this survey.

The Canadian Journalism Forum on Violence and Trauma has launched the first national survey on mental health and well-being in the Canadian journalism community: Taking Care Survey.

This research project is led by Matthew Pearson, assistant professor in the School of Journalism and Communication at Carleton University in Ottawa, and Dave Seglins, veteran journalist and trainer with CBC News, in partnership with the Canadian Journalism Forum on Violence and Trauma.

The research is also formally endorsed by numerous industry groups including the Canadian Association of Journalists (CAJ) and the Fédération Professionnelle des Journalistes du Québec (FPJQ).

The survey can be taken in English and French.
