Journalists and journalism students in their senior year who live in underprivileged areas or who belong to minority communities can apply to this program.
Agência Lupa, a leading fact-checking media outlet in Brazil, is offering 30 places for Mirante, their fact-checking training program.
The four-month remote program will focus on developing fact-checking skills to promote quality information both in underprivileged areas and in news deserts.
Participants will attend hands-on activities, mentoring sessions and immersive activities from October 2023 to January 2024.
The application deadline is Sept. 16.
