Short story contest accepting entries [Caribbean, Central America]

Writers in the Caribbean and Central America can enter a short story contest and win prizes up to US$1,000.

Caribbean Magazine Plus (CMP) is accepting entries for its short story contest. The competition encourages writers to be creative and explore their range of ideas for story submissions.  

Stories will be judged on their impact and originality.

Stories eligible for submission must not be published anywhere, in full or in part, in any language, before January 2022.

The winner will be named the CMP “Writer of Writer’s” and will receive a cash prize of US$1,000.  The second place finalist will receive US$750 and the third place finalist US$500.

The entry fee is US$25.

The deadline to submit entries is Jan. 14, 2022.
