The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), a nonprofit organization based in Washington, D.C., is hiring a translator for its IJNet Arabic site.
The Arabic translator will work closely with the IJNet Arabic editor. Responsibilities include writing training opportunities in Arabic, translating opportunities from English to Arabic and vice-versa. The ideal candidate will also translate articles and resources from English to Arabic and occasionally from Arabic to English.
Previous experience in translation is required and background in journalism is preferred.
