Online training on racial justice reporting [Asia]

Experienced journalists from India, Bangladesh and Indonesia can apply for this online training. 

Thomson Reuters Foundation, in partnership with the Skoll Foundation, will provide an online training for journalists on racial justice reporting from July 20 to August 24. 

The training will use the latest platforms and interactive online tools to connect participants with trainers and experts in engaging, real-time video seminars.

Participants will meet for four hours every Tuesday, which will include two live 90-minute sessions and an offline study hour to work on tasks set by the training team.

At the end of the training, the best 5 or 6 story pitches will receive US$250 and mentoring to produce and publish their stories.

Participants must have a minimum of three years professional experience and have a good level of spoken and written English.  

The application deadline is July 1.
