The World Congress of Science and Factual Producers will take place Nov. 27 to 30 in Brisbane, Australia. Journalists and others who create content related to science, history or other nonfiction fields can apply for funding to attend the conference. Fellowship for journalists and new media creators Deadline: September 13

UN journalism competition Deadline: September 15
Journalists around the world that cover the UN and its agencies can submit their published work for a chance at an award from the United Nations Correspondents Association (UNCA). Winners will receive a cash prize. Learn more here.
Film festival on human rights Deadline: September 15
