The program will cover a wide scope of immunization-related topics: the role of vaccines in public health, new and emerging issues particularly around COVID-19 vaccines, and the responsibility of media in educating the public about misinformation on vaccines and immunization.
Trainers will include former senior journalists from international media outlets such as Reuters and BBC, with guest speakers from the science and health professions.
Selected participants will receive GBP250 (US$322) story grants and ongoing mentoring for eight weeks.
The deadline is Nov. 22.
