Jordanian media outlets that prioritize reaching and informing audiences in Jordan through their content and staff can apply for media resilience grants.
Free Press Unlimited is seeking proposals from Jordanian media outlets for media resilience grants as part of its project “Media Action Jordan – MAJOR,” supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
These grants aim to help media organizations create safer, more inclusive spaces for Jordanian journalists and media outlets, and to produce diverse, relevant content that serves audiences across Jordan.
Preference will be given to independent media outlets, media start-ups and innovative media initiatives that demonstrate a commitment to inclusive journalism and to reaching under-served communities in Jordan, such as teenagers and young adults, women and girls, marginalized communities and regions, and people with disabilities.
Each successful proposal can receive up to EUR 40,000 ($US46,800) for a project lasting a maximum of eight months. In addition to financial support, grantees will benefit from tailored knowledge and skills development based on their needs and challenges, which will be assessed during the selection process.
Applicants should submit their proposal, budget and activity plan in English or Arabic via this email: fpumena@freepressunlimited.org.
The deadline for applications is July 15.
