Jordanian media outlets that prioritize reaching and informing audiences in Jordan through their content and staff can apply for media resilience grants.

Free Press Unlimited is seeking proposals from Jordanian media outlets for media resilience grants as part of its project “Media Action Jordan – MAJOR,” supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

These grants aim to support both upcoming and existing media to become more resilient for the future.

Preference will be given to outlets that demonstrate a clear challenge or development need, or those that plan to use core funding to improve their organizational and professional capacity, promote innovative ideas and contribute to the sustainability of their outlet or initiative.

Successful candidates should mention a clear learning objective, development goal or innovative idea, and show their ability to reach diverse audiences and/or marginalized groups in Jordan.

The media resilience grants have a maximum duration of 12 months. The start and end dates can be discussed based on the applicant's needs.

The deadline for applications is Feb. 28.
