Experienced Syrian women journalists are eligible to apply for reporting grants.
The Al-Jumhuriya platform is offering five grants of EUR4,000 each to support women journalists in completing stories, reports or investigations that contribute to the Syrian public space.
Women journalists will collaborate with Al-Jumhuriya’s editorial team and receive assistance in proofreading, visual design, translation and distribution.
Story pitches can focus on human rights violations against Syrians by those in power, the complex realities faced by Syrian women, the lives of Syrian youth aged 15 to 30, and more.
The application for the grant program must consist of the project proposal written in Arabic, CV, a simplified budget outlining the expected expenses for completing the project. The candidate should attach the required documents as attachments via email, as indicated in the opportunity's application link.
The deadline is Sept. 30.
