Budding journalists interested in environmental issues can apply for a fellowship.
Grist, a nonprofit environmental media organization, offers three fellowships focused on environmental journalism starting May 5, 2025.
Applicants can apply for the Indigenous affairs, climate news and climate solutions fellow positions.
Fellows work full time, writing stories on their respective areas. They can work remotely anywhere in the United States, or from Grist's Seattle office or New York co-working space.
The fellowship pays a US$58,750 salary. Fellows must make a 12-month commitment.
The deadline is Jan. 21, 2025.
