Budding journalists interested in environmental issues can apply for a fellowship.
Grist, a nonprofit environmental media organization, offers four fellowships focused on environmental journalism starting March 3, 2024.
Applicants can apply for the environmental justice, Indigenous affairs, climate news and climate solutions fellow positions.
Fellows work full time, writing stories on their respective areas. They can work remotely anywhere in the United States, or from Grist's Seattle office or New York co-working space.
The fellowship pays a US$55,000 salary. Fellows must make a 12-month commitment.
The deadline is Nov. 26.
