Journalists and others interested in combating misinformation can attend this Dow Jones-TruthBuzz webinar.

The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) will host "How to turn your fact-checks into a social video: Dow Jones-TruthBuzz webinar" at 9 a.m. EDT on Oct. 24, which will be streamed simultaneously on the IJNet Facebook page.

The webinar will feature Astudestra Ajengrastri, senior broadcast journalist and social media editor at BBC News Indonesia, and Hannah Ajakaiye, Chevening Scholar at the University of Sussex.

Both experts will discuss their experience creating social media videos and graphics that have been widely successful to grab the attention of average audience members.

They will address questions such as: How should newsrooms approach fact-checking in the 21st century? How can journalists work with their audience to combat misinformation? How can fact-checkers expand their network with non-fact-checkers?

Registration is free and ongoing. Registered participants will receive a reminder email as well as a link to a video recording of the webinar when it becomes available.

This webinar is the second in a series of ICFJ Dow Jones TruthBuzz Webinars
