Climate Tracker offers mentoring on climate journalism [Latin America]

Journalists residing in Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Honduras, Mexico and Venezuela, with at least one year of professional experience and proven interest in environmental issues, may apply for this program in Spanish.

Climate Tracker opens a new call for applications for its Climate Journalism Mentorship Program, aimed at enhancing the climate crisis reporting skills of the 11 selected candidates.

From November 2024 to February 2025, participants will benefit from online group learning sessions, one-on-one mentoring, and a US$900 grant to produce three stories on energy transition in the region.

Selected applicants will also have networking opportunities.

The deadline is Nov. 3.
