Women filmmakers, 18 and over, residing in France can submit their work.
ARTE France has launched a competition for women directors on the theme "Payday."
Documentaries must be four to six minutes long.
The competition jury will convene in early 2025 to select 10 short films from the submissions received. These selected films will be broadcast on ARTE and ARTE.TV. Additionally, two of the chosen films will receive special awards: a contract for the development of a documentary and a prize of EUR 3,000.
The deadline for applications is Oct. 29.
