News organizations that provide young audiences with information and hope for saving the planet can enter this contest.
The Global Youth & News Media, a French nonprofit committed to linking young people and news media, is accepting entries for the second edition of The Planet Award.
The award recognizes an initiative or journalism project that has had an impact in effectively serving, supporting, attracting and/or learning from teenagers and young adults (ages 13 to 24) while reinforcing the role of journalism in society.
Entries should include a translation or a summary in English.
The deadline is July 1.
