Staff or freelance journalists working for U.S. local or regional outlets can apply for a fellowship.
The Pulitzer Center is offering its StoryReach U.S. Fellowship. The program allows journalists and local and regional newsrooms to collaborate with peers and the center’s staff to unlock the full potential of storytelling and innovative audience reach.
Applicants must submit proposals that focus on underreported issues. Special emphasis will be placed on underreported topics related to health, science misinformation, marine fisheries and human rights.
Eight to 10 fellows will be selected to participate in the yearlong fellowship beginning this spring.
The fellowship will provide journalists with up to US$30,000 to pursue their reporting project.
The deadline is March 3.
