Journalists ages 18 to 35 can enter this contest.
One Young World is accepting nominations for the Journalist of the Year Award.
Candidates must have substantial evidence of the impact and importance of their journalism; be passionate about the right to freedom of thought, expression and speech; and have demonstrable interest in the pursuit of social, economic and/or political rights through journalism.
The winner will receive a fully-funded trip to attend the One Young World Summit 2024 Sept. 18 to 21 in Montreal, Canada.
The deadline is April 7.
