Investigative reporting conference offers fellowships [Worldwide]

Journalists and students can apply for a fellowship to attend this virtual conference.

The Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) Conference will take place online June 14 to 18.

Fellowships are available to women students or early-career journalists and of modest means; journalists, educators and students of color; early-career TV journalists; students in Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma or Louisiana; journalists with a demonstrated interest in financial investigative journalism; journalists working for a newspaper with a Sunday circulation of under 50,000; journalists from trade publications and small outlets; students and early-career journalists from Illinois; and journalists and students working outside the United States.

The fellowship includes a complimentary IRE membership/renewal (US$25 for students/US$70 for pros) and a complimentary conference registration (US$50 for students/US$200 for pros).

The deadline is April 19.
