Latin American journalists with works in Spanish and Portuguese can compete for cash prizes.
Fundación Gabo organizes a new edition of the Gabo Awards, which reward excellence, innovation and ethics in journalism.
Stories must have been first published between February 29, 2024 and February 19, 2025. Journalists can compete across five categories: text, coverage, image, audio and photography.
The winners of the five categories will be invited to the Gabo Festival in Colombia. They will also receive COL35,000,000 (US$8,140).
The deadline is Feb. 18.
