Mid-career journalists based in the Asia Pacific region can apply for this training program.

The Asian American Journalists Association's Asia Chapter's (AAJA-Asia) 2025 Executive Leadership Program (ELP) is now open for applications. The program will feature an international cohort and a fully in-person program from May 26 to 31.

The program will be held in Bangkok before and during AAJA-Asia’s New.Now.Next Media conference (N3Con 2025).

It is designed to grow mid-career journalists as news leaders, managers and executives who can thrive in uncertain times and build a sustainable future for journalism. The program explores the responsibilities and challenges of a media workplace, leading in a changing landscape and the role of cultural values in a corporate environment.

Fifteen spots will be exclusively offered to journalists based in the Asia Pacific region–with a number of fellowships to defray tuition costs. All applications to ELP are automatically considered for this fellowship opportunity. Interested applicants can also apply for the Dinah Eng Leadership Fellowship.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until April 14.
