Freelancers, videomakers, staff journalists, photographers, TV networks, newspapers, agencies and others can submit investigative videos for an award.

Italy's DIG Awards, an international competition dedicated to investigative journalism, is accepting entries in seven categories: DIG Pitch, investigative long works, investigative medium works, long reportage, short reportage, short and masters.

Videos must have been produced after Feb. 21, 2018 and include subtitles in English.

Each category comes with a cash prize ranging from EUR1,000 (US$1,142) to EUR1,500 (US$1,714) — with the exception of the DIG Pitch category, which will award the winner EUR15,000 (US$17,143) to produce a video project.

The deadline is Feb. 15, with the exception of the DIG Pitch category, which is March 15.
